1st- What does SOUND look like?

First grade students were learning about the science of sound in their classroom, and I decided to piggyback upon their findings in the art room.  Wassily Kandinsky was a fabulous artist to focus on in our "art of sound" projects.  Students chose a secret sound to illustrate using only lines, shapes, and colors.  This photo is from our guessing game/ reflection at the end of the project to see if we could match the correct sound to the art.  Students were able to guess many of them correctly!
