4th- American Gothic Parodies

Fourth grade students have been learning about Regionalist artists including the work of art entitled, American Gothic by Grant Wood.  Students connected their parody to the brochure they are creating in writing class.  Students used a variety of magazine images to collage into the art along with drawing techniques.  Students were able to utilize their iPads as a guide when searching for images that would help make their art look more lifelike.
